All Fiskar products are quality and this hatchet is no different. The hatchet is best used for smaller tasks such as chopping kindling or perhaps clearing shrubs or other tasks that don't require a heavy duty axe/hatchet. The hatchet itself is very lightweight and is very sharp right out of the box. However, the hatchet head does seem like it is more prone to chipping or damage so you'll want to avoid hitting anything like rocks or nails.Read more
